David and Amelia Ryan made their home in Montauk shortly after their marriage in 1997. They are year-round residents, with two daughters in the Montauk public schools.
David Ryan is a US Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain with Red Cross certification in both CPR, First Aid, and AED, and a PADI certified Open Water SCUBA Diver. He is a life-long waterman, passionate about sailing, fishing, surfing, and anything else that can be done in and around the water, even if that's just sitting on the beach and making sandcastles with his daughters.
Amelia Ryan has cruised the East Coast of the US, the Bahamas, the US Virgin Islands, including two Gulf Stream crossings, and is a PADI certified Open Water SCUBA diver. She is also a Web developer and technology consultant (www.marginalmedia.com) and created the SailingMontauk.com website. Other local clients include J&P Pools, The Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation, and Montauk Youth.
